Monopoly welfare refers to the phenomenon where the professionals and employees of monopoly enterprises and other operation units enjoying exclusive status, or the cadres and employees of public administrative institutions enjoy excess welfare benefits. This increases the cost of industrial operations and thus affects industrial competitiveness; causes serious damage to social public welfare; exacerbates income inequality and thus affects the social stability; leads to corruption and hinders social progress.
