black eye

1. 解词释义

Black eye意思是“harm done to one's character， or a mark of shame, a humiliating setback”。表示“让某人蒙羞”，可以说为：give someone a black eye。Give someone a black eye还可以表示“把某人打得鼻青脸肿”的意思。表示“遭到白眼”，可以说为：get a black eye。

2. to cheat in the exam：考试作弊

e.g. If you cheat in the exam, you can not get away with it .

你们考试作弊，就不能避免惩罚。

e.g. It was kind of unbelievable that she should cheat in the exam.

她竟会在考试中作弊，真有点让人不敢相信。

e.g. The professor be angry with John for cheating in the exam.

3. be unfair for：对某人来说不公平

e.g. I think it unfair for their customers, but they can start all over again now.

我觉得对他们的客户来说有点不公平, 不过他们倒是可以重新来过了。
