英语专业八级考试

英语专业八级考试全称为全国高校英语专业八级考试，由高等学校外语专业教学指导委员会主办。考试时间是每年3月上旬，对象是英语及相关专业大四学生。非英语及相关专业与非在校生无法参加考试。考试题型包括听力、阅读、改错、翻译和写作。成绩60-69分是合格;70-79分是良好;80分及以上是优秀。考试合格后颁发的证书终身有效。

The TEM-8, short for the Test for English Major-8, is held by Foreign Language Teaching Higher Education Steering Committee. The test is held in first ten days of March, every year. The candidates are senior English-majors or students from other related majors. Non-English majors or other related majors students and external students are not qualified to attend the exam. The test is composd of listening, reading, correcting incorrect words, translation, and writing sections, respectively. Scores from 60 to 69 represent pass, 70-79 "good", and above 80 "excellent". The certificate issued after passing the test will be valid for life.
