张爱玲

张爱玲(1920年-1995年)，中国现代作家，原籍河北省唐山市，原名张煐。张爱玲文笔冷静，小说常用第三人称即“他”来描写，以一种全知的视角来叙述，小说中虽然没有掺杂太多作者个人的情感，但是感情基调悲凉。其语言最大的一个特色就是大量的运用比喻，对照、反讽、色彩描写等手法。其代表作有《金锁记》、《倾城之恋》、《半生缘》、《红玫瑰与白玫瑰》、《小团圆》等。

Eileen Zhang (1920-1995), a modern Chinese writer, whose ancestral home is Tangshan City, Hebei Province, was originally known as Zhang Ying. The writing styles of Zhang are sobering, and usually employ the third person. The novels' narrations usually apply an omniscient perspective. Although there is little of the author's personal emotion mingled in the novels, the central emotions are sadness and solemnity. The most distinct feature of the language is that there is much use of metaphors, comparisons, ironies, and color. Her representative works include The story of Gold Lock, Love in a Fallen City, Fate of Half Life, The Red Rose and White Rose, Little Reunion, etc.
