赛珍珠

赛珍珠(1892年-1973年)，美国作家、人权和女权活动家。在中国生活了近40年，她把中文称为“第一语言”，把镇江称为“中国故乡”。她是唯一一个同时获得普利策奖和诺贝尔奖的女作家，也是目前作品流传语种最多的美国作家。代表作有《一个中国女子的述说》、《大地》等。

Pearl S. Buck

Pearl S. Buck (1892-1973), was an American writer, human rights activist, and feminist. She lived in China for approximately 40 years. She declared Chinese as her "first language", and she regarded Zhenjiang as her "Chinese hometown". She is the only female writer who has won both the Pulitzer Prize and Nobel Prize, and also the American writer with works published in the most languages. Her main works include East Wind: West Wind, The Good Earth.
