Erin C. There are many individuals who are admired and have become famous through the use of others' work, and, disregarding moral qualms,this is definitely the way to go. Bill Gates, for example, could be titled an "idea stealer", but instead, everyone appreciates his brilliance and significance. If you dug deep into the history of computer software, you'd realize that Apple Computers originally developed the software that allows people to navigate computers efficiently and easily. However, Bill Gates and the Microsoft Company used this information and technology to make extravagant profits. If it wasn't for Microsoft's "stealing" of this idea, computers and that technology may not have been so widely distributed among the common man as they are today. There is no doubt that Bill Gates achieved something significant by using the ideas put forward by Apple.
