《阿凡达》Avatar

Ian W. Another example of the majority's opinion leading society astray is in the film Avatar.The James Cameron plot revolves around a group of interstellar miners colonizing a planet to strip it of the rare resource,"unobtanium".Although the mining corporation sees no problems with destroying the primitive natives to obtain the rare resource,the protagonist becomes assimilated in to their culture and gains a sense that the natives are not the savages that the colonists view them as,but are in fact a proud species not too different from ourselves.Had the miners succeeded,a small but noble group would have been annihilated at the hands of the greedy,self-serving majority.
