Ideal Home

Describe an ideal home you would like to live in.

you should say:

What types of house it would be

Where it would be

Who you would like to live with

And explain why you would like to live in this home

叙述误区

1.思路受限：被Questions on cue card局限，只想到位置和人，但地点可以提到很多(如周围环境，外貌，设施等)

2.不要只有空泛的形容词，细节例子多一些 e.g. beautiful

3.逻辑不紧密：前面几问说完，只留下最后一问来回答，再想拿人和位置当理由时，显得逻辑混乱，可以每说完一点，就谈一谈自己的想法，解释原因，把最后一问融入前边问题

语言点提示：

1. 将来时的替换表达很重要，避免时间词只有future, 动词只有will do, going to do 等，可以替换为：

would like to do

expect to do

want to do

be likely to do

2. Plan, (v.) picture/ imagine; (n.) blueprint

3. 房型：villa, mansion; cottage, log cabin

我们可以这么说：

I always picture my ideal home in my mind. In the blueprint about my future accommodation, a villa along the east coast in my hometown appears frequently. Coz’ as a girl who was actually born and raised in a coastal city, sea and ocean have already been an indispensable part in my life. And the east coast happens to be the most beautiful and livable past back to my home city, which makes this region a wonderful location for my villa. If my dream came true, I would definitely go swimming in the sea or walk my dog on the beach every morning. It’ll surely remind me of those carefree days that I’ve spent there back to my childhood.

Plus, A 2-floor villa with white walls & blue roof would be even greater, which I guess, will perfectly blend in with the outlines of the landscape. Picture this. Standing on the second-floor of my house and looking out of the window, I can see the blue sky, white cloud, golden beach and crystal-clear water, just like an amazing painting! I bet, if I ever feel stressed out or tired about everyday life, the picturesque view out of my window will always cheer me up and bring me a sense of relief.

About whom I’d love to live with, of course it would be my husband and kids in the future. You know, with 2 floors, there must be at least 3-5 bedrooms in my house. Since I always wanna have a big family with 3 or 4 children, it should be spacious enough for us to live there comfortably.

Also, as a major fan of movie, if it is possible, I would like to put a big plasma TV set and a whole set of stereo in my living room. Then, when I draw the curtains, turn off the light and play my DVD collection with my equipment, my living room will literally turn into a “private cinema”. I’ m pretty sure that it is a dream for all movie lovers.
