Scholarships for international taught postgraduate students

If you are a master's student with Overseas fee status, you may be eligible for one of our scholarships to help you pay your fees. If you are eligible, the money is applied as a discount on your tuition fees.

1.The Frank Wallace Scholarship

If you are from the People’s Republic of China and study full-time MSc Automotive Engineering, you may be eligible for this scholarship.

(1)About Scheme

This is Scheme 5 in a group of seven scholarship schemes centrally managed by the International Relations Office. Funding comes from the University, faculties, alumni and corporate donors.

If you are an international fee-paying student you could be eligible for The Frank Wallace Scholarship worth £2,500. This money is not given to you as cash but applied as a discount to your tuition fees. The scholarship is named after Professor Frank Wallace, a pioneer in diesel engine turbocharging research, and awarded on behalf of his family.

(2)Eligibility criteria

You can apply for this scholarship if you are from the People’s Republic of China and:

have a confirmed offer to study MSc Automotive Engineering at Bath

have made us your Firm choice

pay fees for the programme you study

(3)Applying for the scheme

(4)Deadline for applications

2.Sir Jack Cater Scholarship

Graduates of nominated Hong Kong universities studying full-time taught postgraduate masters (MA, MSc or MRes) at Bath, may be eligible for this scholarship.

Jack Cater 奖学金

从被提名的香港大学毕业、并且在巴斯大学学习全日制授课型研究生硕士课程的学生，可以申请这项奖学金。文科硕士、理科硕士和研究型硕士都可以申请。

If you are an international fee-paying student you could be eligible for Sir Jack Cater Scholarship worth £3,000. This money is not given to you as cash but applied as a discount to your tuition fees.

(2)Eligibility criteria

You can apply for this scholarship if you are a graduate of Hong Kong University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) or Hong Kong Baptist University and:

have a confirmed offer to study a full-time taught postgraduate masters (including stand-alone Masters of Research (MRes)) programme with us

have made us your Firm choice

pay fees for the programme you study

(3)Applying for the scheme

If you are eligible for the scholarship scheme we will let you know and invite you to apply.

School of Management candidates will be considered for Cater scholarships as part of their application to the School of Management scholarships and do not need to make a separate application.

3.University of Bath International Scholarships Scheme

If you are an international student studying a full-time taught postgraduate masters programme, you may be eligible for this scholarship.

(1)About Scheme

This is Scheme 1 in a group of seven scholarship schemes centrally managed by the International Relations Office. Funding comes from the University, faculties, alumni and corporate donors.

If you are an international fee-paying student you could be eligible for one of 75 scholarships worth up to £3,000 each from the University of Bath International Scholarships Scheme (UoBISS). This money is not given to you as cash but applied as a discount to your tuition fees.

(2)Eligibility criteria

You can apply for this scholarship if you are an international student from any country and:

have a confirmed offer to study a full-time taught postgraduate masters (including stand-alone Masters of Research (MRes)) programme with us

have made us your Firm choice

pay fees for the programme you study

study at the Faculty of Engineering and Design, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, or Faculty of Science

This scheme is not available to students studying at the School of Management.

4.Faculty of Engineering & Design Elite MSc Scholarships

If you are an international student studying a full-time taught postgraduate master's (MSc) programme, you may be eligible for this scholarship.

If you are an international fee-paying student you could be eligible for one of 20 Faculty of Engineering and Design Elite MSc Scholarships each worth £2,000. This money is not given to you as cash but applied as a discount to your tuition fees.

(2)Eligibility criteria

You can apply for this scholarship if you are an international student from any country and:

have a confirmed offer to study a full-time taught postgraduate masters (MSc) programme in Engineering with us

have made us your Firm choice

pay fees for the programme you study

7.Santander Universities Masters Scholarships for students in Latin America

If you are from Latin America and study a full-time taught postgraduate masters (MA, MSc or MRes) programme at Bath, you may be eligible for this scholarship.

If you are an international fee-paying student you could be eligible for one of five Santander scholarships worth £5,000. This money is not given to you as cash but awarded as a discount to your tuition fees.

(2)Eligibility criteria

You can apply for this scholarship if you are an international student from any country and:

a graduate of a university in the Santander network: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, or Uruguay

have a confirmed offer to study a full-time taught postgraduate masters (including stand-alone Masters of Research (MRes)) programme in any subject with us

have made us your Firm choice

pay fees for the programme you study

School of Management candidates applying for scholarships will be considered for this scholarship and do not need to make a separate application.
