① I am a big fan of sport, only the sports news can appeal to me;

I prefer to read current events about art.

First, art's core practice is one of the most participative, dynamic and social forms of human behaviour. It has the capacity to trigger reflection, generate empathy, create dialogue and foster new ideas and relationships and offers a powerful and democratic way of expressing, sharing and shaping values.

Second, art shapes the way we look at and understands the world and the mental structures that order our ideas. They are the frame through which we construct the stories that we tell ourselves and others about what is important.

It is beneficial to be an omnivorous reader, but each time I browse the websites or newspapers for information, I just go directly to the sections of art and films. The reason is quite obvious. I’m a frequent theatergoer, and I do need to learn about the freshest comments and watch the exciting trailers to pick the movies or plays that are really worth my soul and money. Like last time, I forgot to check out the commentaries from the pros in the sections of art and films before hand, especially the website of IMDB and just went into a movie theater and randomly picked a movie. You can absolutely imagine what a disaster that turned out to be. So it would be wise to keep updated with such information.

I think I will be more interested in art and film. Coz first, I like them. I can always learn so much from various music styles and movie genres. They make me subtle and sensitive to the beauty and kindness in the world, also, they are a good way for me to release pressure and blow off steam. I am a busy student, everyday I have to deal with endless group discussions, presentations, paper work, various school subjects, etc, so a bit knowledge about art and film can always give me the needed diversion to replenish my energy and enhance my learning efficiency.
