The professor talks about two characteristics of effective feedback. The first characteristic is feedback must be properly timed. For example, in a painting class, teacher should give students feedback before the class is over. So the students can try recommended techniques in teacher’s feedback in their painting. The second characteristic is feedback should focus on students’ work, not on students themselves. For example, if a student use wrong color in his painting, the teacher should tell him to change another color in his future painting rather than just tell him he is a bad painter.(95 words)
