四级词汇讲解：

本句的主干是universities have become global。In response to the same forces that havedriven the world economy为句子的状语，其中that引导的是forces的定语从句;冒号之后的内容是对more self-consciously global的补充说明，为三个动名词短语构成的并列结构，其中who引导的是students的定语从句;courses of study和collaborative research programs是offering的并列宾语，其中that引导的是courses of study的定语从句。
